In essence, the RBI will be launching its first global hackathon (1st global hackathon) with the goal of making digital payments safer and easier for consumers.

Announcing the hackathon on Tuesday, the RBI stated that the theme of the hackathon is to make digital payments faster and more efficient.

According to the RBI, registration for the hackathon ‘HARBINGER 2021’ will begin on November 15. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday announced the world’s first hackathon ‘HARBINGER 2021 – Innovation for Transformation’ entitled ‘Smarter Digital Payments ‘.

The RBI stated that participants in the hackathon will need to be aware of the difficulties associated with making digital payments more secure, as well as making digital payments to find victims, reduce and improve pay scenarios. Responses should be provided.

They will receive a prize of Rs 40 lakh
Being part of Harbinger 2021 will give students the opportunity to seek guidance from industry experts and showcase their creative answers, the RBI said. The judges will determine the winner in each category. The first winner will receive Rs 40 lakh, while the second winner will receive a prize of Rs 20 lakh.
