Porsche has just launched the Macan facelift (prices start at ₹ 83.21 lakh) and the all-electric Taycan sedan in India (between 50 1.50 and 2.30 crore, exhibition room, India).
Macan has both aesthetic and mechanical modifications and is offered in three variants – Macan, Macan S and Macan GTS (S and GTS prices have not yet been announced). Under the hood, the Macan entry gets a 265hp, 2.0-liter fuel engine while the Macan S gets a new 380hp, 2.9-liter V6.
The high-end GTS features the same V6 engine but is designed to produce 440hp. All models get Porsche’s 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and wheel drive as standard.
The first white Porsche EV is available in two variants – the Taycan sedan and the Taycan Cross Turismo estate. The first is available in four variants – standard, 4S, Turbo and Turbo S, while the latter is offered in three variants – 4S, Turbo and Turbo S.
Everything except the Taycan-level entry-level drive (RWD) only, gets all the wheels as standard. The RWD Taycan produces 408hp, while the Taycan 4S, with dual-motor configuration produces up to 530hp with overboost activated. Cross Turismo 4S produces 571hp over overboost. The Turbo models, meanwhile, in all body shapes, produce up to 680hp, while the high-performance Turbo S produces up to 761hp.
Battery size ranges from 79.2kWh to 93.4kWh depending on the reduction, and the WLTP version of RWD Taycan is 484km at any cost.
