Indian para shuttler Krishna Nagar, a 2020 gold medalist at the Tokyo Paralympics, feels that his career began at the 2018 Asian Games, where he won bronze.

“In 2017, 2018 I didn’t have anything. I didn’t have the money for the national tournament though. But now that it’s all in there, I can’t describe how I felt. I feel like my journey started after the Asian Games,” Krishna said.

Krishan, who, along with 11 other runners, will be awarded the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna on Saturday and is delighted to receive the top prize.

“My dream has come true. It is a proud moment. I won gold first, and then I was nominated for the Khel Ratna Prize. I feel good. said Krishna

“My family life is very happy because of the respect they have for each other. I’m just thinking about what the President of India would want to do, “he added.
