India is on the verge of achieving the greatest export history: Piyush Goyal
NEW DelHI: Union Trade and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said all sectors of India’s economy are seeing an increase and the country is making significant progress in terms of exports and services. “India will achieve its goal of exporting $ 400 billion worth of goods by the end of March,” he said. “In this way we will fulfill the history of goods and services.”
Launching the India International Trade Fair (IITF), Goyal said the country had received $ 27 billion in foreign exchange earnings (FDI) in the first four months of next year. This is 62 percent more than the same period last year. Goyal said today the world is looking to India as a reliable partner in the global retail industry.
He said despite the closure, India did not make a mistake in supporting international operations. He also said that the Government of India is launching a major global vaccination campaign. So far 110 crore vaccine has been given to the public. He also said that next year a 500 crore vaccine will be developed in India. Five or six vaccines have been developed in this country.
Goyal said India could be a global market for goods and services. “Indian companies can reach a peak in terms of race, competition and scope. Through the IITF, we will help achieve the goal of ‘Make Local Global’ and ‘Make in India for the world’.
