Acharya Chanakya’s thoughts and ideas may seem difficult to you, but this maturity is a fact of life. We may simply ignore these thoughts in a busy life, but these words will help you in any of life’s trials. Today we will examine another thought from this view of Acharya Chanakya. The modern concept is based on friendship.
‘There can be no greater enemy than the one who deceives by living together and there can be no greater friend than the one who tells us our sins in front of us.’ Acharya Chanakya
In this statement, Acharya Chanakya is talking about who is a real friend. Acharya says it is better to stay away from a friend who is with you but is hurting you behind your back. Your friends of this type are very dangerous. Better than these are the ones who do evil to you in front of you. Some people may be intimidated by such people, but they are far more numerous than those who utter verbal abuse.
You will come face-to-face with such people in real life. There are friends with whom you share all your things that you would not tell anyone else. Assuming they are close to you, you say all the things you are afraid to say in front of others. It often happens that at that moment, emotion, you share with your partner the secrets that are in prison in the other corner of your heart. But these friends will keep your secrets to themselves in front of others when they have a chance. The remarkable thing is that they do not feel guilty when they do this, nor do they think that they will be able to break your trust.
Your enemies are better than your friends. Or there are people who do not love you at all. The reason what goes on in the minds of such people, they speak up. That is why Acharya Chanakya has said that there can be no greater enemy than the one who deceives by living together and there can be no greater friend than the one who tells us our sins in front of us.
